Smart Chicks Kick It: Rules

  • The Smart Chicks Kick It Tour will make its stop on September 16th here in Jackson. At this stop, SEVEN authors will be in attendance: Melissa Marr, Kelley Armstrong, Alyson Noel, Holly Black, Cassandra Clare, Sarah Rees Brennan, and Jessica Verday.
  • The Smart Chicks will be discussing and signing their books at Plantation Commons beginning at 6:00 p.m. This event is open to everyone.
  • Doors will open for purchasing books at 5:00 p.m.
  • SEVEN authors will be signing at our Smart Chicks stop. You do not have to purchase books from all seven authors to attend.
  • Books may be purchased the day of the event at Plantation Commons or in advance at Lemuria Books.
  • All books purchased at Lemuria–whether on the day of the event or in advance–will include a special Smart Chicks/Lemuria bookmark.
  • For every book bought from Lemuria that you get signed, you may get TWO books from home signed.
  • On the day of the signing, you may only get THREE books SIGNED per author per trip through the signing line.
  • Line sequence numbers for the actual signing will be given out on the day of the event as the line forms.
  • Line sequence numbers will only be given out after a book is purchased or the special bookmark signing ticket is presented, showing you bought one of the three books you want signed.
  • No refund will be given for unsigned books.
  • Advanced orders will taken for signed books, but we cannot take inscriptions on advanced orders.

    Leslie,
“Line sequence numbers for the actual signing will be given out on the day of the event as the line forms.”

So basically, you don’t get a line number when you buy your book, you get a line number when you actually get in line.

Can’t wait to see you there!

Do we have to buy a book at the event in order to have something signed? I have a few of the books at my house, so I was just wondering.
