I managed to make it to page 47 before falling asleep. The characters are very endearing; you immediately develop sympathy and hope for them. Check out this faux-fur edition of The Wild Things. We're supposed to be getting some of these in October. They're hysterical . . . . but I think I'm glad I got the non-fur edition.
